Detailed Shift Time Frames
Use these as practical retail leadership guides. Adjust to your store manager’s direction and actual staffing.
Start-of-Day Team Huddle
Most associates arrive around 7:30 AM. Hold the team huddle between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM before the first major production/floor push. Keep it positive, factual, brief, and mission-focused.
Suggested Huddle Flow
- Thank the team: Start calm and positive.
- Yesterday’s numbers: Share sales, budget result, wares production, and textile production.
- Today’s goals: State budget goal, wares goal, textile goal, and key floor priorities.
- Safety / service focus: Name one thing to watch today.
- Team builder: Do one short exercise under two minutes.
- Close strong: “Let’s have a safe, respectful, productive shift.”
